FruitieX wins Frag Of The Month June

Congratulations to FruitieX for winning the Frag Of The Month competition for the month June. He held off Dave for this win.

The winning frag:

Race Mode will be split up into CTS and Race

When the Race game mode was initially released, the available maps on Race servers were lap based maps that were not very hard to complete. The challenge was more in competing against each other, with weapons or without, than to compete with the map or even to complete it. This changed when maps started appearing where trickjump skills were more important than pure speed. Over time these maps became very popular on race servers, so much so that the original idea behind Race has now been pushed to the background.

First North American 3v3CTF Ladder to begin

We're officially announcing the first North American 3v3CTF Ladder, which will begin during the week of May 25th (depending on the setup time for registrations, map selection, server setup, mumble setup).

The purpose of this ladder is to generate activity for the North American clan community. Any clan members within the North American region are welcomed to participate. We hope that this boost in activity also carries over to the EU and AU communities as well.

Nexuiz.AU suffers from setbacks, but pushes on

Over the past 8 months, Nexuiz Australia has made much progress toward becoming an active gaming community. The arrival of [L3X], who kindly provided au.nexworld.net hosting, caused many new resources to be available to Nexuiz.AU, which played a big part in its recent growth. Unfortunately, some differences of opinion between a few members of the community arose and as a result the servers were shut down.
